Vegetarian food carts: an antidote to those disgusting shit-on-a-stick Halal scumbuckets stinking out every other NYC block; nice spindly-airy architect-y looking cart with three buckets of pre-cooked veggie stir-fry, two woks for reheating, and food pails, chopsticks, and napkins, little else. Could easily collapse for transportation. Different carts could get different selections, and replenishing trucks could have a variety. How many times have you been mad dashing, and finding a quick hit of asparagus/ginger tofu would be just the thing? And even if you did, you'll be hungry again all too soon.
why do snack bars have to be sweet? why not garlicky ones with lots of onions, chilies, grains and seeds, oily black olives, minced grilled veggies, nuts, spices, etc.
DJ rehearsal booths like they have for rock bands, but with three decks plus CD players, tape deck/CD recorder, loud monitors, a couch for posse, a fridge, and bring your own needles (or rent).
better covers for Technics 1200’s, made of the same plastic as Frisbees. Same for cartridges; what are these bullshits I could buy a cheap watch in, come home crushed all the time; why not a cartridge case I can sit on? Would make sense to have an integral stylus-microscope attached, to see how bad it really looks from time to time, instead of waiting until it’s so destructive that I can hear it.
